A Summer Boston Seaport Wedding
In August, BKB had the pleasure of capturing Mae and Mark’s wedding at the Seaport Hotel in Boston, one of our favorite locations for weddings and engagements in the area. This was a beautiful day that Brittany described as filled with laughter and love. She made sure to note that the couple appeared to genuinely enjoy and take in every single moment, which is what it’s all about.
The day began with capturing video footage and photos of the bride and groom getting ready, as well as details such as the dress and invitations. The couple then made their way outside to do a first look, a sweet moment that BKB captured beautifully. These images demonstrate that Brittany’s words are true, as the genuine love between the pair and the excitement for the day to come shine through in the images. The couple stayed in that location for some time afterwards to pose for more photos together. The lovely summer weather made these shots even more stunning.

Mae and Mark then made their way back towards the hotel to take more photos with each other and with their close friends and family. These turned out to be lovely images that capture how happy everyone was to celebrate the couple. A favorite photo is of the wedding party all posing together, holding up their arms and flowers, with Mark holding their puppy. This puppy would make an adorable appearance down the aisle later on. Just before the ceremony, the couple headed over to the waterfront to take photos, popping a bottle of champagne. Champagne is always a fun prop, and these images did not disappoint!

During the ceremony, the couple read vows to each other that were personal and touching. The reception, which took place inside the Lighthouse Ballroom, elegantly blended Catholic and Palestinian traditions. There were traditional Middle Eastern dancing performances and fantastic food throughout for the guests to enjoy. BKB was able to capture these fun moments as well as the stunning decorations throughout the ballroom. It was done with a beautiful palette of green that complemented the floor-to-ceiling windows perfectly.

Guests danced the night away, celebrating the lovely couple. Mae and Mark were a dream to work with, and their wedding was stunning and memorable. Congratulations to the happy couple!
