There’s not much that is better than a September wedding by the Seaport, and Krista and Chris’s day at the beginning of the month was no different. BKB had the pleasure of capturing both the welcome party and wedding day. Krista’s family is a longtime client of ours, and she is the second sister in this family whose wedding we have been lucky enough to photograph. It is special to witness not just one, but multiple milestones in the same family and be a part of capturing memories they can cherish forever.

The welcome party took place at Ocean Prime the night prior. BKB captured stunning photos of the pair and some of their guests during the event. The Seaport location always makes for some favorite photos. The couple posed lovingly together and with their close family and friends, making for some amazing snapshots to start the weekend.

The photos of Krista and Chris together show the genuine love between them, as they are constantly laughing and posing sweetly with one another. This was evident in the welcome party images, as well as on the wedding day. As usual, BKB captured every important moment of the day, from the bride getting ready to the details such as the shoes and the invitation. After the bride and groom had gotten ready, some favorite photos from the weekend were taken of the pair. The two embraced, posing both outside and inside their venue, the InterContinental Boston.

The weekend’s venues were picked perfectly. While outside of Ocean Prime made for a perfect backdrop to the welcome party images, the InterContinental Hotel allowed for fun and unique shots of the ceremony and more. Some of the coolest photos from the wedding day were when Krista and Chris posed together in a booth inside the hotel. These images are beautiful and will make for timeless memories. The reception was also held in the hotel, with the area decorated with stunning florals and decor, fitting the aesthetics of the day.

The couple and their guests danced, dined, chatted, and posed for photos together as the night went on. The images capture how happy everyone truly was to celebrate the newlyweds. Cheers to Krista and Chris! We cannot wait to see what the future holds.
